Standard zirconia crowns and bridges carry a 15 year written warranty. DMLS crowns and bridges carry 10 years. Infinity-Zir, the premium tier, carries a lifetime warranty.

The periods

The warranty is tiered by what the restoration is made of. We publish the periods because a dentist should be able to tell a patient how long the work is backed for, without ringing the lab to ask.

Every tier goes out with the same written card, only the period changes. The card covers physical damage to the restoration and is the document that governs the cover, so it belongs in the patient record rather than the bin.

Why we put this in writing

A lab that will not name a period is asking you to trust a promise with no shape to it. Naming the period is how we make the promise checkable, and it is the same reason we publish the material each tier is cut from rather than saying "premium imported".

What the tiers are made of

Infinity-Zir is milled from Cercon zirconia made by Dentsply Sirona in Germany.
Standard zirconia is milled monolithic or cutback and layered in Ivoclar ceramic.
